20XX: A Mega Man Inspired Roguelike Action Platformer
20XX is a game that combines the best of two worlds: roguelikes and Mega Man. Developed by Fire Hose Games, this game is available on PlayStation 4 and offers a full version license. The game features crisp and precise controls that allow players to easily navigate through randomly generated levels.
In 20XX, every playthrough is a self-contained life, meaning that permanent death is a feature. However, death sends you back to HQ, where you can buy powerful upgrades for future runs. The game also features persistent upgrades that unlock powerful permanent upgrades and expand the pool of items that you can find as you play. Additionally, the game has over 100 mighty powerups to collect, tons of different play modes, and optional difficulty modifiers.
20XX also offers full co-op, allowing you to play with a friend on the couch or over the interwebs. The game supports 1-2 players locally or online via Steam. However, online play is currently 90% stable. Finally, the game features seeded daily and weekly challenges, making it a game that you can play for hours on end.
